American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

I ordered a custom cake and provided a reference photo of exactly what I wanted. While I understand that custom cakes won't be identical to inspiration photos, I expected something that at least resembled the design I ordered. Unfortunately, the cake I received looked nothing like the requested design. The cake I ordered was a themed K-pop Demon Hunters cake with character toppers and decorative elements. Instead, I received a simple lavender cake with white roses that was completely unrelated to the theme. What made the experience even more disappointing was the response when I brought up my concerns. Not only did they refuse to remake or correct the cake, but they also refused to offer any discount or partial refund despite the final product being so different from what was ordered. I paid for a custom cake and did not receive the custom design I requested. I've included photos of the cake I ordered versus the cake I received so others can decide for themselves.

I've been living in Sw for years and decided to visit this bakery to purchase Mexican pastries which they're known for. It was my first time visiting this establishment and I must say the attitudes were definitely real. The workers looked at followed me around the entire time as if I was a thief. I used my debit card to purchase my items and to make matters worse they double charged me!! Smh this establishment is a total rip off and I wouldn't recommend this place even if it was the last bakery on earth! A paying customer should never feel like a thief period!!! Sheila's Bakery learn how to run a register without running paying customers off!!!

We got a sonic cake for a 7yr old birthday and they made it very clear it was supposed to be ready by 10AM. Paid in full the night before and they were also asking for deposit. Cake was done by 12 waited two hours. Do better. And the little girl there used to work @ the crest hotel is a joke. It should’ve been DONE if it was paid in full she wanted to sit & argue for 30 minutes.

Excellent quality freshly baked bread and cakes. ♨️❤️ Fast and friendly staff, ample parking. ✅️Suggestion for improvement: please list out ingredients of each item on the label at the shelf. This would help customers with dietary restrictions.
